As we walked in to school this morning and I had a little "PEP" talk to Hay about the big Day I explained to her that she had done an outstanding job on her campaign and that either way the day would end that she had better have a smile on her face when I went to get her.......... I will let you decide how the election turned out by the picture below!!!

......... Little Critter.........

As some of you know how well I don't like these critters over here they are GECKO's, today Hunter brought this little guy down from the upstairs bathroom and he was so cute I didn't want her to let him go..........but she did !!! Hope you like the little critter! Hope Gma Linda has a Great Bday! We are thinkin of you!!

Our own election canidate.....................

Hayleigh has been nominated to run for her school election as treasurer. So what an exciting week we have had, from brainstorming a speech (thanks to gma chris and rachael) to preparing for a videotaping of the speech on Friday, preparing class fliers and poster!! Her speech will be aired to all of the school on Friday and voting to follow right after! She is pretty excited about this new chapter in her life, probably one that would not have taken place if we still were home. I don't think they do student council in the elementary schools! We are wishing her lots of LUCK!! But know she she will do wonderful at whatever she does!! Here is a view of her fabulous flier!!!

Well today was another YELLOW card day at the PO!!!!!!!! YEH how exciting........ well in the one package I could sniff out that there was........

And here is a Math challenge for you : How long does it take if Hunter can eat 3 pieces of choco licorice in 1 min, and Hay can eat 5 in 1 min, and Trin can eat the rest of the the package before they get to gate 3?? How many pieces of licorice did Trin inhale?? haha
The next boxes were full of spiders and cock roaches!!!!!!!!! for the ghouls and ghosts! Thanks so much for the Halloween spirit sent our way!! And the apples made it customs didn't sniff them out but I sure did and I can't wait to bite into one after dinner tonight!!

OH the weather outside is..................

Brightful, and the sun is so delightful, as long as you let it shine, let it shine, let it shine!!! Wow, how we were thinking of all of you back home in 8 inches of snow (more or less) we just soaked up all of the rays that we possibly could today and it felt so nice and warm!!!

We are wishing you all a change in the weather as if it stays the same you are all in for a very LONG winter........and that is one thing I don't miss!!!

Friday was Hunter's first official dress in "BLUES" day!!

So per our bloggersation I had to try this out, and I am in trouble with my daughter but I don't care I am so excited now that I may have another date to count down to in 2009!!!! I hope you like what I have done this could be the start of some serious seeking through the blind events....

My trip to the PO today.....................

Today I was really excited we had three yellow slips!!! Yeh this is going to be almost as Happy as Christmas........... Well I picked up the packages one for me, one for Hayleigh, and one for the family, great this was at my lunch and I was already running late, I will just have to wait to get home to open mine. On the way home Hay opened hers..........well I didn't know who the return address was, after she opened it and started to laugh I asked what was so funny she said well I guess that GPA Keith must have had these people find us!!! Thanks Dad or whom ever has released our address but remember we are members of the "SANDY BEACH BUDA'S" !



So on to my package as I got home, It was my favorite candle in the world!! SALT CITY.............. Evergreen........... but I am a bit disappointed...... I bought 2 of the smallest to burn under my lights and I got the invoice that said that I had paid 52.00 (that is including the shipping) for 2 small candles! I hope they last until I get home! But I smell as though I am back in Utah!! If you haven't smelled it or sniffed it next time you should try it is the best!!!



Now to the last package.... It was one from the Clarks, full of fun fall treats and decorations. Me and Hay have both dibbed our favorites and stashed them away!! Thanks Clark's for the box of goodies!!

So, Hunter was pretty excited for tonight to go with her friends, and Hay was really excited to make sure that she looked good and to tell me about 5 times before Hunter left that she was for sure to break her ankle!

Can I just let you all know that this is a mile stone for me and that I am feeling extremely OLD now!!!

I am hoping that at the next years Homecoming or special dance that I can get some creative pictures as one of my bloggin sista's!!

As you can guess with all of the humidity and condensation on this Island, I guess we should expect a few issues to happen in our cement casa, we did have one repair in June and luckily at that time we had the Inspector General here to make sure that all of the 12 indians did their job, but this time we only had the Chief here for two days to make sure that they got it the job done!! I suppose time will tell to see if the ceiling begins to leak again or mold starts growing also!!! (thank goodness for admin leave)!!

Hopefully Darrins allergies will go away!

WOW as I woke up today and realized that one year ago today that we were at SL International getting ready to board for the adventure of our life, I am really grateful that we are at our 1 Year mark and yes we can now say we are on the down hill slide!! YEH! I just wanted to share some of the first pics that we took through out our long adventure. Thanks for all of the visits, emails,calls and letters throughout the year they really help us out! Can you believe it has been 52 weeks since we have seen most of you? Hopefully only 52 more till we see you all!!

Update on *S*I*N*L*A*K*U*....................

As of today Sunday Sept 14, we have not had any effects of the typhoon. It has moved away from us do to a cold front. They have moved it away from us until Tues. Which is even better (the kids think) so that maybe we can miss a day of school/work. We are still in TC-3 and had a few rain showers but nothing bad. Who knows maybe it wont even hit the island.

Can I say another first S*I*N*L*A*K*U................

Pretty sure that you all check out our weather here in the tropics but thought you would like to know that we are headed into a or SINLAKU is headed into us!!! HE/SHE is predicted to be here late friday night, saturday morning........... so if any of you try to call and we dont answer either phone or the computer chances might be high that we dont/wont have power. (not as though we will get any calls). But thought you might like to track our storm. The commissary is a major mad house, Darrin stopped today and got crappy bottled water from the shopette, we have plenty of tuna fish and cup o noodles to last a while and guess what I still have in hiding.......... a bag of chocolate licorice that I knew I would need for a special occasion!!:) I am adding another link if you want to check it out or if not just google the name above and it will keep you up to date!! We are now in TC-3 which means move in all of your loose items from outside or "batten down the hatches". So as before I said plenty of firsts and hopefully a last!!

We came home today to Hunter in her new uniform............ are you thinking soccer uniform??? NO........ she received her ROTC uniform today and is really excited about her class and I am excited for her and hope that she can take it as far as she can who knows maybe she will become a commander of the AF!!!


So on to the next exciting thing for the week............... Hay has found her a new find...........yes she has found her her very own beach cruiser and she is proud as punch for it!!!

As for me and Darrin the same thing just different days!!!
